This website is to document and act as a repository of materials and publications related to the Walking With Infants project by Dr. Louise Platt.
Louise is a senior lecturer at Manchester Metropolitan University Business School with expertise in placemaking and place experiences.
The work here grew out of Louise’s own maternity leave experiences during the UK Covid-19 lockdowns. The only option at this time was to walk! It was the only way to safely meet other mums.
On returning to work she formalised the research and developed the work you will find on these pages.
